Accidental Self Portrait

Back from my trip to Big Bend!!  Things pretty much couldn't have gone better.  Took 10,655 pictures!  It'll be a while before I get them culled to something for the blog though...  Here is one from a time lapse sequence I shot.  It was the first frame capturing me as I walked back to my tent w my red headlamp on.

VACATION TIME!!!

I'm off to Big Bend National Park tomorrow.  A week in the desert with just myself, my camera and my tent!!  Going to try my hand at some star photography and light painting and at not getting eaten by mountain lions!

Big mega huge props to Kelly for not just agreeing to me using 1/4 of my vacation on a solo hiking trip in the desert but actually encouraging me to do so!  I'll miss the family greatly but really look forward to getting back out in nature.

So no pictures for a week or more but will be adding plenty when I get back.
