First Post !!

My (hopefully our) first blog! I say "our", tentatively, because I hope to get Kelly active in this thing as well. The idea, I guess, will be to share pictures and stories of things that happen to us (mainly, of course, the kiddos). Kelly is still working on becoming computer savvy so it may be a while before she is uploading pictures and writing blog entries, but I'm sure she will eventually.... Actually, while I am ok with computers, this blogging stuff is pretty new territory for me as well.

I got the idea to start this blog as a way to share information with our friends and family. Since I'm not much of a writer (this is a good spot to say please excuse any spelling and grammar errors as English was always a weak spot for me in school:) this blog will likely contain mostly pictures. Like this one:

Taken on our Smoky Mountain vacation back in June.

The main use of this blog will be to upload pictures of our newborn baby so its grandparents can share in our joy. As ya'll (whoever "ya'll" might be) know, Kelly and I are expecting!!!!! As the due date is ~Mar 30th, I'll probably fill the time between now and then by uploading lots of pics of the kids in their various sporting events and other endeavours.

Well lets get this posted and see if it actually works.... more later, hopefully
